WHAT WE DO
Art
Learning through art is an important step at the beginning of critical thinking. Leaders are encouraged to express themselves through artworks. Many types of creative projects happen in the Leaders classroom from painting, drawing, coloring, play dough, stickers and even from cotton balls!
Writing
Leaders experience early writing in a variety of ways. Letter identification is the beginning of writing in our curriculum.
Through fine motor skills such as pulling stickers, grabbing on to objects, scribble and scrabble with a crayon helps develop muscles to be able to write a simple letter.
Math
Leaders focus on learning numbers. Leaders begin to understand the collation of numbers and objects. Numbers are also a vital part of this classroom. Our teachers work with the students to count all objects inside and outside of the classroom. In this classroom, leaders not only learn numbers, but they also learn different sizes, shapes, and patterns as well.
Music and movements
Every day, this active group of toddles expels energy through music and movement. Common children’s songs like ” head shoulder, knees and Toes” help the student; earn body parts as well as part of the exercise of the day! Classic music is also introduced during rest time.
